Wedding Party: Tobie Meyer-Fong, Bridesmaid

Tobie and Mayra met in DC in 1990. Since then their friendship has grown around Tobie's and her husband Ming-Yuen's great hospitality and great Chinese and Indian meals. The three of them traveled in Mexico at the end of 2001 and in China in 2005. Tobie and Ming-Yuen are both Yalies, something Mayra has learned to overlook over the years. Tobie was recently tenured at Johns Hopkins University where she specializes in social and cultural history of China since 1600. Saul, Tobie's and Ming's three year old son, hopes to be an associate at MRV Associates and enjoys having breakfast meetings with Mayra when she goes to DC. |
